CAPTAIN - Kirsty
Hi I'm Kirsty, I'm returning to playing hockey in my last year of my 30s after a 16 year break. In my youth and early adult years it was a game I loved and having the opportunity to relearn and get back into it in such a friendly and supportive team is really wonderful. Our team is a mixture of young players learning to play at senior level, returners like me and newbies to the sport. I would say to anyone looking for a way to make friends, find a community, have fun and get a bit of activity to come down and get involved. You won't regret it.
COACH - Robyn Briggs
My name is Robyn, I was introduced to hockey through an after school session in 2012 and instantly loved it. I’ve played for a variety of teams and leagues over the years and having the privilege to be selected for county hockey multiple years in a row in my youth. I learnt so much from every player and coach I came across and I developed a great passion for the sport. I was brought in to help coach the hockey her way program introducing new players and reintroducing players who haven’t played in a while, at the end of hockey her way I took on the coaching role for the new 3rd team for Chorley Phoenix starting our very first season in September of 2025 which both myself and the team can’t wait for.
